Troubleshooting Solidworks Connected Installs

I was having trouble installing solidworks connected to my laptop which is a windows 11 home laptop (This is the 3D experience for Makers edition).  It ran into an old install that was corrupted so I did the following to fix it.

Made a new director 3D EXPERIENCE SOLIDWORKS NEW (still gave me an error) and then went into the old install and ran the Uinstall.bat as administrator.  When it brought up an error I asked it show me the logs and it said couldn't create child process so I stated not an error and it removed the directory.  I will try again and I know DS has forums for this but since 3D Experience for Makers is an introduction for many to 3D Experience may be a pinned topic on how to handle installs (I love xDesign and prefer it over Onshape)
